GUESTS & EVENTS
- We had the honor of hosting the Mayor of Ejmiatsin city Diana Gasparyan at ALCF center. Ms. Gasparyan took a tour around the facility, got acquainted with the activities and the residents of the shelter.
- We are glad to inform you that the Municipality of Armavir is asphalting the roads in the province. They included the road to ALCF.
- The shelter residents and the participants of “Feed the Elders” program, were taken by bus for a picnic to Ashtarak. They spent time with music and dances.
- Luiza Baghdasaryan member of “The Knights and Daughters of Vardan” & Susanna Nersisyan general director of “Hay Heghinak” visited our center. They toured around the foundation and were very impressed with the activities we do.
MAYRADOON
- The foundation already has a gym with some fitness equipment for the shelter residents. The gym room has a great influence on the health of the residents and also a way to brighten spirits and reduce stress. We are in need of a tread-mill, new, or in good condition. Please donate.
- The vocational trainings are ongoing. We do our utmost to have a positive effect on the lives and well being of our residents and their children preparing them for their future.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
- The Municipality of Aragatsotn organized a distribution process. Eighty needy families from different villages of Aragatsotn province received humanitarian aid.
- We visited Ejmiatsin Medical Center and surprised moms providing gifts to newborns.
- Underprivileged pupils of Musaler school received school supplies from ALCF center.

GUESTS & EVENTS
- Nelli Duryan the Chief of the 3rd Department of Police and Vagharshapat Police Department for Juvenile Cases and Domestic Violence Prevention visited our center. We took a tour around the center and introduced them the programs we fulfill.
- Hovig and Houri Megerdichian sponsored few luncheons of the “Feed the Elders” program and served the elders themselves.
- Fr. Aram of Sharja (The Emirates) visited ALCF center and toured the grounds. He was delighted with our chapel-church located on the same grounds of the center, donated a bible for our Khoran. We thank him for his blessings.
- The second annual baptism ceremony of 2019 was arranged by our founders. 4 mothers and 12 children were baptized.
MAYRADOON
- Mr. and Mrs. Ghazarian arranged a hamburger party for the shelter residents and staff. They made delicious hamburgers, French fries and served it to the residents.
- Child Evangelism Fellowship members arranged a yard camp for the little residents of our shelter. We are grateful for making their day full of God’s love and teaching them songs to appreciate our Lord.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
- Hratch and Shant Ghazarian families took part in the distribution process of the humanitarian aid to 80 needy families of Abovyan village in Ararat province. The families received bags full of clothes, shoes and toys.
- Syrian immigrants settled in Armenia without any home furnishings. They received two beds with mattresses, a table, chairs, a baby walker, shelving, cradle and clothes.

GUESTS & EVENTS
- June started with the celebration of Children’s day and the first Baptism ceremony of 2019 arranged by our founders. After the ceremony all the participants and the guests enjoyed festive food and music.
- Eddie & Taleen Boulghourjian, Bablanians and Fattouhians from AUS visited our center. They sponsored the “Feed the elders” program and served the elders. Mr. & Mrs. Boulghourjian also met their sponsored families with tears in their eyes.
- We enjoyed Ter Karekin Bedourian of Orange County and his family’s visit in our center.
- Fuller center headed by Leo and Sona Manuelian visited our foundation. They toured the center, tasted fruits from our garden and made a collective donation.
- Mesrobian school of Montebello visited our foundation headed by principle David Ghoogasian and teacher Arpy Hamparian. They toured the facility, played with the little residents and got acquainted with the programs. They also sponsored “Feed the Elders” program for that day and made many different contributions. Mr․ Ghoogasian did a seminar with the shelter residents teaching them breathing techniques for relaxation.
MAYRADOON
- Our residents were taken to the Puppet Theater. We do everything to keep their days full and interesting.
- We purchased a pool for the little residents of the shelter to enjoy swimming in the hot summer days.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
- Underprivileged families of Aygevan and Metsamor villages in Armavir province received clothing, shoes and toys.
- Electric and simple wheelchairs are provided to handicappers in the frames of “Light of hope” program.

The founders are in Armenia. These months ALCF accept guests from all over the world.
- TV host Armen Tadevosyan visited ALCF and gave smiles and happiness to the residents.
- Maral Ohanian, Annette Kosker, Hilda Aslanian Gourdikian & Tamara Araqelyan were our guests. They took a tour around the center, got acquainted with the activities of the foundation and expressed their willingness to support us in the near future.
- Physiotherapist Tigran Grigoryan visited and passed a seminar with the residents about healthy lifestyle and food.
- This month the missioners surprised our little residents with a puppet show.
- The container arrived at ALCF warehouse and new distribution plans started for the foundation activities.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
- ALCF continues its “Light of Hope” program.
Since the arriving of the container lots of needy individuals come to the foundation and ask for help.
- Our staff visited Amberd village in Armavir province and distributed humanitarian aid to 70 needy families. We provided them bags full of clothing, shoes, toys and other necessary items.
- We visited Astghik and Ejmiatsin Medical Centers and surprised 34 moms providing them newborn packages.

EVENTS
- Easter was celebrated at ALCF center. Residents went to a liturgy, after church a delicious Easter table was waiting for them in the center. These days we are enjoying the presence of the founders in Armenia, they also joined us to the festive dinner.
- Our little residents surprised everyone with the performance that they prepared; they sang songs, danced and told rhymes.
- Sonia Khazanchian from California visited our foundation and met with the founders.
- Joe Krikorian,Vaughn Gaboudian from Code 3 Angels, California passed a seminar about First aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation). All the residents were trained, hands on. Learned and gained experience. At the end of the seminar the participants received certificates.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
- ALCF continues providing humanitarian aid to the needy and Syrian immigrants in the frames of “Light of Hope” program sharing love and compassion with each piece of donation we give.

EVENTS
The spring has filled the hearts of our residents with love, warmth and new hopes. This month was full of joyful events and celebrations.
- We celebrated Women International Day-March 8th. ALCF little residents prepared a performance for the participants of “Feed the elders” program. The elders received presents and enjoyed their day with music.
- We hosted Diran Apelian and Martin Burt at ALCF center. They toured around the foundation and were very impressed with the activities we do.
- Missioners visited ALCF to involve little residents in arithmetic games for development of logic and memory.
- Every year we grow various vegetables in our greenhouse. This year we have already started our planting. Soon we are going to have lots of tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
- Our staff visited Beglaryan Medical Center and surprised mothers with gift packages for their new born.
- ALCF is always here to help the needy. A family living in Ejmiatsin turned to us for help.Their house was burned down. Our staff went and checked what they needed, there was nothing left in the house. We provided them clothing, blankets, pillows and kitchenware.
- We continue supporting Armenians who emigrated from Syria and want to create a new life here in Armenia.

- The owner of Alina supermarket in Ejmiatsin, Aram Ohanjanyan for donating food to the shelter residents.
- Amqor Armenia Charitable Foundation for adding ALCF in their Cheese program. We are going to receive 37 kg cheese every month till the end of the year.

EVENTS
Almost every month ALCF center in Armenia is full of various and lively events that make resident’s lives more interesting.
- We hosted the members of Environmental education section of ATP/Armenian Tree Project/. They took a tour around the center, got acquainted with the activities of the foundation. Then they passed a seminar about the protection of the environment.
- We organized a Khash party /Armenian traditional meal/ for the participants of “Feed the elders” program.
- Anahit Ananian passed a class with our residents and gave them pieces of advice for starting a new life.
- Every month Dr. Susanna Onanyan comes and provides free medical assistance to the participants of “Myradoon” and “Feed the Elders” programs.
“RAY OF LIGHT” PROGRAM
Yegavian, Shant Gourdikian, Tujian & Grigoryan (Chalian) families started the “Ray of Light” program in this Foundation two years ago. They donate funds to the emergency needs of the people who show up at our doors asking for help in their emergencies. This month “Ray of Light” program provided life-changing services to:
- Marieta Gaboyan, who called us in a horrible condition asking for help to go to the hospital. She had nothing to pay the hospital, nor had money for food or transportation, for her and her 13 year old grandson. She needed funds to get food while she was hospitalized.
- Diana and her daughter who were ex-residents of ALCF shelter. Now they live in a so called “home” that has no running water or heating. During these cold winter days she had nothing to feed her daughter. Diana had been feeding her child only one apple a day. She came to ALCF office and was begging for help. We purchased food for her to last a whole month.
- Raffi who emigrated with his family from Syria was given some food money and warm clothing for the winter. Couldn’t find a proper job and had no money to pay the heating bill. During the winter months ALCF helped him pay his heating bill.

- Segey Oganesyan for sponsoring Papik’s first eye surgery.
- Ani and Seta Mirzaian who sponsored our Papik’s second eye surgery at Srourian eye center. Papik is a “Feed the elders” program participant.
- Other sponsors as well for donating funds to help pay for his medication to maintain his health.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
- Anahit Ananian joined and help ALCF staff to surprise mothers of Margaryan Maternity Hospital by giving them newborn packages.
- ALCF continues its humanitarian activities. ALCF center of the foundation is always full of people who come from different regions of Armenia asking for clothing shoes and other necessary items.

EVENTS
- New Year’s atmosphere was still lingering beginning of January. Theaters donated tickets for the New Year’s performances. Participation in such cultural events make our resident’s lives more colorful.
- On Christmas evening our residents went to St. Mary’s Church in Parakar, participated in the Light ceremony and the Holly Liturgy, when came back to the center, the Christmas supper was waiting for them.
- The vocational trainings are ongoing. We do our utmost to have a positive effect on the lives and well-being of our residents and their children. We also, always teach them to appreciate their God-given gift of motherhood.
- The blessing ceremony took place in ALCF under the leadership of Holy Father Partev Ashuryan. Salt and bread were blessed and distributed to participants of the programs.
- Missioners visited ALCF to involve our little residents in a series of simple but effective games, making them happier individuals.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
We continue providing humanitarian aid to needy families and Sirian immigrants that turn to us for help. We provide them with warm clothing, blankets and diapers.
As always, this month as well, a lot of individuals came to our doors were in dire need of humanitarian assistance.

EVENTS
The shelter is full of residents.
- As the holidays were close we were busy organizing parties, preparing presents for the participants of our programs. The Shelter residents surprised us with their amazing New Year’s performance. The children were reciting poems and singing.
- December 28, like every Friday, we started the day with “Bible Study”, gave the elders a festive luncheon. A surprise was waiting for them In the hall .We prepared New Year’s gifts. The festive mood escalated with the festive music.

- The principal and members of Tairov high school visited ALCF. They surprised our little residents with presents.

- Jorj Navasardyan from №1 supermarket of Ejmiatsin for donating food to prepare delicious New Year table for the residents.
- The directors of Puppet Theatre of Yerevan and Yerevan State Russian Drama Theatre for providing free tickets of New Year performances.
- Mr. Hrant from Shen Toon supermarket who surprised our residents during the performance and gave them candy packages.
- The pianist Tamara for organizing amazing New Year performance with our little residents.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
- Our staff visited Aratashen village in Armavir province and Aygepat village in Ararat province and distributed warm winter clothing, shoes and toys to 80 underprivileged families.
- We gave newborn packages to the newborns of Ejmiatsin medical center.
- ALCF staff was invited to a New Year performance of Musaler kindergarten. At the end of the performance all the children received presents from the foundation.

GUESTS
- Our Newly appointed Governor of Armavir province Hambardzum Matevosyan visited our facility in Ptghunk village. Our Director took him for a tour around our facility and explained what we do. It was very exciting for him to know that such a facility exists in Armenia and even more that it is in his province.
- We thank Mr. Matevosyan for giving us the time with his visit.
- Mimi Zarookhian and Hilda Grigorian visited our facility and donated wedding gowns for our Bridal room, we are grateful for their donations.
- We thank the Tree Project of Armenia for donating evergreens and other plants for the newly built section of our complex. Our residents planted them. We look forward to spring to see those flowers bloom.
MYRADOON
- Our residents continue their Vocational trainings.
- Christmas atmosphere rules in the center. End of November Mrs Araxi with the help of our residents, decorated the entire facility.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
- Our staff visited Astghik Medical Center and surprised 37 moms with gift packages for their new borns.
- We distributed humanitarian aid to 70 underprivileged families in Argavand village, Ararat province. We provided them bags full of clothing, shoes, toys and other necessary items.
- We continue helping Syrian immigrants by providing them warm winter clothing and kitchenware.
