NEWS & EVENTS  

• The children and mothers of ALCF had the wonderful opportunity to attend the delightful performance of Pippi Longstocking at the Yerevan Dramatic Theatre. Cultural experiences like these inspire children’s imagination, encourage a love for the arts, and create cherished memories. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Yerevan Dramatic Theatre for their invitation and warm hospitality.
• We were delighted to welcome a group of 6th-grade students, their parents, and staff members from Ari Guiragos Minassian Armenian School in Orange County, California, to ALCF.
• Our little residents joyfully celebrated the beloved Armenian tradition of Vardavar, embracing the fun of splashing water and enjoying this special holiday together.
• We would like to sincerely thank all of the generous donors who contributed to providing hot meals for the elders in our community through the “Feed the Elders” program.

MYRADOON 

• Our residents are actively participating in a variety of classes, including English, computer, sewing, manicure and pedicure, hairdressing, and cooking. These programs help them gain useful skills, build independence, and open doors to new opportunities.
• ALCF continues to provide safe shelter and support to women and their children who are experiencing abuse. Our doors remain open to those in need, and we will continue to stand beside every woman and child seeking safety and a new beginning.
• We celebrated the birthday of our Afsana (mother).  It was a joyful day filled with smiles, laughter, and love. Moments like these remind us how special it is to create happy memories together. 
• We are delighted to be harvesting the first produce of the season from our greenhouse. The fresh vegetables are being enjoyed by the women and children in our shelter.

AID TO COMMUNITIES

• The center goes on helping needy families, displaced families of Artsakh by providing lavash (bread) from our bakery, clothes, blankets, shoes, hygiene supplies and kitchen-ware.
• $32 will supply 200 lavash for the hungry and the poor. Please donate and mention Lavash.
• We still carry luncheons for $300 for the elders and our shelter girls with their children. Your name will be placed on a board in our dining area as a sponsor for that day.and our prayers will be for your family.
• In the framework of “Sponsor a Family” program ALCF continues distributing monetary aid.

NEWS & EVENTS  

• International Children’s Day at ALCF was filled with unforgettable memories thanks to the kindness of Dr. Tigran Tsaturyan and his wonderful friends. Our children enjoyed a fantastic entertainment program specially prepared for them, featuring beloved cartoon characters, fun performances, and plenty of surprises. The day was made even brighter with thoughtful gifts that brought smiles to every child’s face.
• The residents of ALCF continued their journey of discovering the beautiful regions of Armenia. This time, our destination was the picturesque village of Bjni. During our visit, we explored the historic Bjni Fortress, admired the famous mineral springs, and visited the beautiful Surb Astvatsatsin Church.
• As part of our commitment to supporting families, ALCF visited the Echmiadzin Maternity Hospital and donated baby clothing packages to newborns and expectant mothers, helping families celebrate and prepare for this special new chapter.
• ALCF was delighted to attend the graduation ceremony at Musaler Kindergarten. To support the children as they prepare for school, ALCF donated stationery sets, wishing them every success in this exciting new chapter.

MYRADOON 

• Vocational classes continue at ALCF, providing residents with valuable opportunities to learn and grow. Participants are actively developing practical skills through courses in English, computer skills, sewing, manicure and pedicure, hairdressing, and cooking, helping them build confidence and prepare for greater independence.
• The students of Merdzavan Secondary School visited ALCF and presented an educational puppet performance based on Hovhannes Tumanyan’s beloved fairy tale, “The End of evil.”
• Our young residents had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with Tanzela Grigoryan, a member of the Armenian Women’s Weightlifting Team and a multiple-time national champion. Tanzela organized a lively and engaging Sportlandia, bringing together sports, teamwork, and fun.
• Our little ones had a wonderful time attending a circus performance, thanks to the invitation from Parakar Municipality. Filled with laughter, excitement, and unforgettable moments, the outing brought smiles to the children’s faces and made for a truly joyful day.

NEWS & EVENTS  

• The residents of ALCF were blessed to take part in another beautiful pilgrimage, visiting the cherished churches of St. Mariane, Karmravor, Spitakavor, Tsiranavor, and St. Sargis in Ashtarak.
• We were delighted to welcome the wonderful staff of Marriott Hotel Yerevan at ALCF. The guests surprised everyone with delicious sweets and a magical performance by a talented magician.
• On May 16, the young residents of ALCF also participated in the pan-European event “Night of Museums.” During this special cultural event, they visited the Hovhannes Hovhannisyan House-Museum, the Historical and Ethnographic Museum, the “Ruben Sevak” Museum, and the Museum of the Mother Cathedral of Echmiadzin.
• During our regular pilgrimage, the residents of the ALCF visited Tsaghkevank — a place where faith, history, and nature come together in harmony.  

MYRADOON 

• ALCF residents remain engaged in meaningful learning opportunities through ongoing classes in English, computer skills, sewing, manicure and pedicure, hairdressing, and cooking. These programs create a supportive environment where participants can explore their talents, develop practical abilities, and strengthen their confidence for everyday life and future opportunities.
• On the holy feast of the Ascension of Christ, the children of ALCF went to the fields to gather spring flowers, enjoy nature, and play “Jan Gyulum” together.
• ALCF was happy to welcome the members of Child Evangelism Fellowship to our center. Their visit brought joy and meaningful moments to our residents and children through shared activities, warm conversations, and time spent together.
• This month, we had the joy of celebrating Gor’s birthday at ALCF. His special day brought smiles, warmth, and happiness to everyone in our shelter as residents and staff came together to share in the celebration.

NEWS & EVENTS  

• The residents of ALCF visited the Holy Mother of God Church in Parakar, where they took part in the sacred Funeral Ceremony of Jesus Christ.  
• At ALCF, our residents came together to celebrate Feast of the miraculous Resurrection of Jesus Christ (Easter). Our mothers with their children shared a special Easter dinner together, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.
• The residents of ALCF visited Tsitsernakaberd to honor the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. They laid flowers at the memorial and offered prayers for the souls of the innocent lives lost.
• We were pleased to welcome Rubina, founder and trainer of Ruby Fitness, to ALCF. During her visit, Rubina met with our mothers and led a guided fitness session focused on gentle movement, strength, and overall well-being.

MYRADOON 

• The residents of ALCF continue to actively participate in a wide range of educational and vocational activities designed to support personal growth and independence. Ongoing classes include English language learning, computer skills development, sewing, manicure and pedicure training, hairdressing, and cooking.
• ALCF continues to provide safe shelter and support to women and their children who are experiencing abuse. Our doors remain open to those in need, and we will continue to stand beside every woman and child seeking safety and a new beginning.
• Our little residents at ALCF enjoyed a joyful Easter egg hunting game filled with sweet surprises! We hid colorful eggs in our yard, each filled with delicious candies, and the children excitedly searched every corner to find them.
• This month, we had the joy of celebrating five special birthdays at ALCF. We warmly congratulated Susan (the mother), Davit, Max, Daniel, and Mila on their special days. Each celebration brought smiles, laughter, and a sense of togetherness to our shelter.

NEWS & EVENTS  

• The mothers of ALCF recently enjoyed a truly memorable and enriching day as they explored the beautiful and historic churches of Ashtarak. During the tour, they visited the breathtaking Saghmosavank Monastery, the magnificent Hovhannavank Monastery, and the peaceful Mughni Saint Gevorg Church.
• We had the honor of welcoming sexologist, couple therapist Dr. Andronis to ALCF. During his visit, he conducted an engaging and meaningful workshop with our beneficiaries, creating a safe and open space for discussion, learning, and self-reflection.
• We are happy to share, that our team recently carried out another humanitarian visit—this time to the maternity hospital of Echmiadzin Medical Center. During our visit, we donated baby clothing packages to newborns.
• The residents of ALCF came together to celebrate the beautiful Armenian holiday of Tsaghkazard (Palm Sunday) with joy, faith, and unity. They visited Saint Gayane Church in Etchmiadzin to receive blessings and mark the beginning of Holy Week.

MYRADOON 

• At ALCF, our vocational training programs are ongoing, creating new opportunities and brighter futures for the women in our care. Current trainings include English, computer skills, sewing, manicure, pedicure, hairdressing, and cooking.
• On International Women’s Day, we celebrated a warm and meaningful day dedicated to the wonderful women in our center. To mark this special occasion, ALCF prepared beautiful gifts for our mothers, showing appreciation for their strength, love, and dedication to their children.
• We came together to celebrate the beautiful Armenian tradition of Mijink. During our celebration, we shared traditional gata, lovingly prepared for this special occasion.
• ALCF was happy to welcome the members of Child Evangelism Fellowship to our ALCF center. Their visit brought warmth, kindness, and meaningful moments to our residents. Through engaging activities, conversations, and shared time with the children, they created a joyful and uplifting atmosphere for everyone.

NEWS & EVENTS  

• ALCF was honored to welcome Father Partev from the Holy Mother of God Church, Parakar, who led a heartfelt Trndez sermon together with our residents. His words reminded us of the importance of hope, renewal, and keeping our spiritual and cultural roots alive within our community. After the sermon and prayer, we came together outdoors to light the Trndez fire.
• The little residents of ALCF visited the Saint Mesrop Mashtots Church in Oshakan, continued to the Mausoleum of the Arshakunis in Aghdzk, and later prayed at the peaceful Monastery of Tegher.
• On the occasion of Book Presenting Day, the Parakar Municipality visited and made a wonderful and thoughtful gesture by gifting books to ALCF.
• We were blessed to welcome the members of Child Evangelism Fellowship to our center. Through inspiring Bible stories, heartfelt conversations, songs, and engaging activities, they reminded our children and mothers that they are loved, valued and never alone.

MYRADOON 

• Our vocational trainings are actively ongoing, providing residents with valuable skills that can help them gain independence and new opportunities. They are currently attending courses in English, computer skills, sewing, manicure, hairdressing and cooking.
• At ALCF, our mission remains the same: to provide safety, protection, and hope for women and children who have experienced violence.
•  This month, our center received quite a large amount of matagh, a blessed offering shared with our residents. The matagh was prepared and donated with love, and it became a meaningful moment for the women and children living in our shelter.
• Every Sunday at ALCF, our little residents gather for a special art class filled with creativity, color, and joy. These classes give the children a wonderful opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings through drawing, painting and crafts.

NEWS & EVENTS  

• Our residents welcomed the New Year together, celebrating in a cozy and loving atmosphere. The night became even more special as our residents received New Year presents, bringing excitement, surprise, and genuine happiness to both children and adults.
• Father Partev of the Holy Mother of God Church in Parakar performed a house blessing ceremony throughout the entire territory of the ALCF. With prayer, holy water, and words of blessing, every corner of our foundation was filled with peace, protection, and God’s grace.
• On the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of Heroes Who Fell for the Defense of the Homeland, the little residents of ALCF undertook a meaningful and solemn visit to the memorial complex in Echmiadzin, dedicated to the heroes of the 44-day war.
• We were delighted to host the amazing Aralez Scouts at ALCF! Their visit brought so much joy and positive energy as they organized fun games for our little ones. The visit ended on a beautiful note with gifts from the Aralez Scouts, making the experience even more special for our children.

MYRADOON 

• At ALCF through daily classes in English, computer skills, sewing, manicure, hairdressing, and cooking, our mothers are building practical skills that support independence and new opportunities.
• At ALCF, we are beginning a new mission — to go on pilgrimage to the churches of Armenia, praying for peace, for every good blessing for our country, our families, and the world. This journey is not only spiritual, but also educational and healing. It gives our residents the opportunity to discover Armenia, connect with our heritage, and grow stronger in faith and unity. We kindly ask for your support to help us continue this meaningful mission. Together, we can walk this path of prayer, hope, and love for our homeland.
•  The little residents of ALCF enjoyed a joyful winter outing, where they spent time outdoors building a snowman and embracing the magic of the season.
•  This month, we celebrated the birthday of Hamestuhi, one of the devoted mothers at ALCF, together with the residents of ALCF, sharing warm wishes, smiles, and a joyful sense of togetherness.

• Our residents were invited to the Moscow Cultural and Business Center “Moscow House” for a magical event — “New Year’s Happiness” ․ It was a joyful musical fairy-tale performance filled with wonder and smiles.
• The letters written by our little residents to Santa Claus found their way into kind and caring hands.
  Master Med Medical Center took the children’s letters from ALCF and turned their wishes into real gifts.
• The wonderful staff of Courtyard by Marriott Hotel visited ALCF and brought heartfelt gifts for our children.  
• ALCF employees visited the kindergartens of  Ptghunk and Musaler, took part in the New Year celebration, and shared gifts with the children.

MYRADOON 

• Our residents were warmly invited by the Echmiadzin Komitas Cultural Center to attend a beautiful New Year musical performance.
• The members of Child Evangelism Fellowship visited our center. The little residents of ALCF sang Christmas songs, played various interesting games with the members and were treated with candies.
• As the New Year magic filled the air, the State Theater of Musical Comedy after Hakob Paronian and the Sundukyan State Academic Theater warmly invited the residents of ALCF to a special New Year performance.
• The little residents of ALCF filled our home with sweetness, laughter, and creativity as they made gingerbread and decorated them with their own little hands and big imaginations.

• Armenian First Channel’s “Aravot Luso” program visited ALCF and prepared a heartfelt video dedicated to International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
• Our residents of ALCF created a beautiful Thanksgiving video filled with gratitude and love.
  In their own sweet words, they expressed thanks to God, our founders, donors, supporters, and everyone who stands beside the ALCF.
•  We were so blessed to have the Members of the Child Evangelism Fellowship visit ALCF recently! They prepared a beautiful and heartfelt winter program for our residents, filled with joy, songs, and the powerful message of hope.
• At ALCF, we continue baking fresh lavash every week — not only for our residents, but also for needy families in the community. Grateful to everyone who helps us keep this tradition alive.

MYRADOON 

• At ALCF, our residents continue to learn, grow, and build brighter futures! Through daily classes in English, computer skills, sewing, manicure, hairdressing, and cooking, our mothers are gaining empowerment — and every new skill learned brings them closer to a hopeful tomorrow.
• We continue to accept abused women and their children, offering them safety, support, and a place to begin again. Every day, we work to provide healing, protection, and hope for families escaping violence.
  No one should face such challenges alone — and at ALCF, they never do.
•  This month at ALCF, we had triple  joy! We celebrated the birthdays of Noro, Nerses, and Mihran, filling the shelter with smiles, cake, and warm wishes.
• Our little residents of ALCF came together to create a heartfelt social advertisement against bullying. With this simple act, they showed strength, unity, and the importance of standing up for themselves and for each other.

NEWS & EVENTS

• Yerevan dramatic theatre after Hrachya Ghaplanyan kindly invited the children of the Armenian Lighthouse Charitable Foundation to a joyful Children’s Song and Dance Concert. The stage was filled with music, colors, and laughter — and our little ones’ eyes sparkled with excitement and happiness.
• Zuhrab and Seta Ghazarian made a heartfelt donation to Parakar Holy Mother of God Church — gifting 3 bookstands and a candle stand for the church. With love and faith, we are always happy to support our local church and contribute to preserving our spiritual heritage.
•  Every Friday, our residents gather for a special time of learning and reflection — Bible study classes led by the esteemed priest, Father Partev. Through these meetings, our mothers and children grow stronger in faith, find comfort in the Word of God, and learn how to apply Christian values in their daily lives.
• We are always happy to welcome guests at ALCF! Each visit gives us a chance to share our mission, talk about what we have accomplished, and express what we still need to continue our Godly work. It’s always a blessing to see new faces, exchange ideas, and feel the love and encouragement that help us move forward in serving mothers and children in need.

• At ALCF our residents are getting ready for the winter. Our wonderful mothers, together with our cook, carefully cleaned and prepared all the vegetables, then lovingly placed them into jars.
• During our art class our little ones joyfully colored the clay jugs they had made all by themselves — each one unique, full of bright colors and imagination
