NEWS & EVENTS

  • On July 24th ALCF held an event at Hratch and Araz Ghazarian’s residence in HB OC,USA. The foundation presented a capsule collection of Mr. Kevork Shadoyan, a fashion designer from Armenia, the family girls modeled for the fashion show. It included evening gowns and dresses and a variety of accessories. The guests enjoyed the fashion show and were served an open bar and a great lunch for the event. They even had many Armenian paintings of different artists displayed and sold at the event.
  • Armenian Lighthouse little residents were full of joy and smiles on the occasion of a birthday of one of their friends. The center hosted a clown who entertained all the residents by singing songs and holding various interesting games.
  • “Umcor Armenia” CF keeps providing the monthly cheese donations for the residents of ALCF.
  • ALCF hosted the hantes of the kindergarten named after Mr and Mrs. Ghazarian in Ptghunk village. Children performed, sang and quoted poems. After the event they received gifts from ALCF.

 

 

MYRADOON

  • Vocational trainings are ongoing. The residents of ALCF participate in the classes to become self-sufficient and self-dependent.
  • Every Friday all the residents of ALCF take part in Bible Study classes they speak on different topics based on the Bible, pray and feel the blessings.
  • Every Sunday the residents of ALCF go to church to feel blessed.

 

AID TO COMMUNITIES

  • In the framework of the “Sponsor a Family” program, ALCF distributes monetary aid.
  • ALCF continues distributing humanitarian aid to needy families of Armenia and Artsakh. The center gives clothes, blankets, shoes, hygiene supplies and kitchen-ware.
  • ALCF continues visiting hospitals and distributing newborn care packages to the mothers.

NEWS & EVENTS

  • June 1st is the international children’s day. There was a festive atmosphere at ALCF. The children of Day Care prepared a nice performance; they sang and quoted poems on that special day. After the event all the children danced, played, painted on the ground with colorful chalks then enjoyed sweets and dessert made for them. The center also hosted a clown who entertained our little residents and gave presents to them.
  • “Umcor Armenia” CF donated cheese for the residents of ALCF.
  • The members of Fuller Center with the heads Leo & Sona Manuelian visited ALCF. They had an interesting tour around the center and made donations. We are very thankful to them for their time and visit.
  • ALCF hosted the Members of the Child Evangelism Fellowship. They entertained the young residents, sang songs and presented books to the residents.

 

MYRADOON

  • The residents of ALCF go on participating in English, computer, sewing and manicure classes. These are the unique opportunities for them to get ready for their future life.
  • Bible Study classes are also on going at ALCF. Every Friday the whole residents of the center take part in the classes, pray and interpret the Bible.
  • Every Sunday the residents of ALCF go to church to participate in liturgy and to feel blessed.

 

AID TO COMMUNITIES

  • In the framework of the “Sponsor a Family” program, ALCF continues distributing funds to the families who are really grateful for getting Your donations.
  • ALCF keeps providing humanitarian aid to the needy families who have fled Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Artsakh. We distribute clothes, blankets, shoes, hygiene supplies and kitchen-ware.

NEWS & EVENTS

  • Our first and second containers of 2021 arrived in Armenia. The foundation started to distribute the goods to the needy families. We gave electric and manual wheelchairs, clothes, shoes, blanket, hygiene supplies, diapers, kitchenware and more. We are looking forward to receiving the 3rd container soon to be distributed to the underprivileged  families in Armenia.
  • Municipality of Ejmiatsin donated a huge amount of food for our residents.
  • ALCF received cheese donation from “Umcor Armenia” CF for the residents of the center.
  • ALCF donated toys to the Lenughi Kindergarten. The foundation is doing everything to make the lives of all children colorful and full of joy.
  • May 13 was the day of the Feast of the Ascension of Jesus Christ-“Hambardzum”. The residents of ALCF celebrated the feast, sang traditional songs, played games and enjoyed tasty desserts.

  • Vocational trainings are ongoing. English, computer, sewing and manicure classes to prepare the residents for independence.
  • The foundation continues hosting Bible Study classes every Friday.
  • Every Sunday the residents of ALCF go to church to feel blessed.
  • ALCF continues accepting newcomers. They have to be isolated for 14 days before they join the main building.

 

AID TO COMMUNITIES

  • In the framework of the “Sponsor a Family” program, ALCF continues distributing the funds donated by you to your sponsored families.
  • The foundation continues visiting different Maternity Hospitals to distribute new-born packages.

NEWS & EVENTS

  • April 4th ALCF residents celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ-“Surb Zatik”. They attended church, played egg hunt in the garden of the center and then enjoyed the tasty meal prepared for them.
  • Davit Manukyan doctor-gynecologist had a seminar with the residents, held a question-answer session about all the issues that were of the most interest for them.
  •  The little residents of “Day Care’ held a stunning performance devoted to the celebrations of spring. They quoted poems, sang and danced. Everyone enjoyed the warm atmosphere.
  • The foundation received baby food donation from “Natali Pharm”.
  • ALCF received cheese donation from “Umcor Armenia” CF for the residents of the center.

 

 

 

MYRADOON 

  • ALCF continues vocational trainings conducting English, computer, sewing and manicure classes for the residents.
  • ALCF continues hosting Bible Study classes every Friday for all the residents.
  • Every Sunday, the residents go to Church and participate in a liturgy.
  • The foundation keeps accepting newcomers to our shelter following all Covid-19 regulations.

  • The foundation also goes on visiting hospitals and distributing new-born packages. ALCF visited Ejmiatsin, Astghik, and Margaryan Maternity Hospitals, we gave packages to the mothers for their new borne. They were very happy.

  • There was a joyful atmosphere at our shelter on March 8th while the residents celebrated International Women’s Day. The residents executed a great performance and congratulated each other, then they enjoyed a tasty dessert prepared for them.
  • The members of Child Evangelism Fellowship prepared a nice performance for the little residents, sang and played together and had a great time.
  • ALCF received food donations from the Armavir Regional Municipality.
  • The foundation received a huge baby food donation from “Natali Pharm”.
  • “Umcor” CF donated a large amount of cheese for the center for our residents.

  • ALCF continues hosting Bible Study classes every Friday for all the residents.
  • Every Sunday, the residents go to Church of the Holy Mother of God in Parakar and participate in a liturgy.
  • The foundation continues to accept newcomers to our shelter. We follow all Covid-19 regulations.

  • The members of Child Evangelism Fellowship visited ALCF. They played a performance for the little residents, taught songs and poems, then the little residents received sweets.
  • ALCF received food donations from Etchmiatsin Municipality for the Artsakh families living in the center.
  • The ALCF foundation in the US is preparing for a second container shipment to Armenia in 2021. The container full of clothes, shoes and many other goods is nearly ready to be sent and be distributed to needy families.
  • On February 14, the residents of ALCF celebrated the Feast of the Lord’s Presentation. The residents jumped over the fire of Tearnendaraj and enjoyed delicious dessert prepared for them.

NEWS & EVENTS

  • Every Year for Armenian Christmas, a priest visits our shelter and conducts a blessing ceremony. This year as well the priest blessed the center, bread, water and salt and gave them to the shelter residents and staff to eat and be blessed.
  • The members of Child Evangelism Fellowship visited the center. They prepared a performance about Christmas, sang songs and played with the little residents. After the performance the little residents received candy packages.
  • ALCF received food donations from Etchmiatsin Municipality for the Artsakh families living in the center.
  • The foundation is preparing for a second container shipment from the USA. The first container a forty foot, full of clothes, shoes and many other goods is already on its way to Armenia to be distributed to families in need.

 

 

 

MYRADOON

  • ALCF continues conducting vocational trainings for the residents: English, computer skills, sewing, cooking and manicure. They master these skills and become more self-confident.
  • ALCF started our regular Bible Study classes again every Friday for the residents and surrounding villagers.
  • After New Year and Christmas, we opened our doors for the newcomers who underwent domestic violence and abuse. Because of the pandemic they stay isolated for 14 days and then join the main building.

 

 

AID TO COMMUNITIES

  • ALCF continues the “Light of Hope” program and provides people with humanitarian aid. We distribute clothes, blankets, shoes, hygiene supplies and kitchen-ware to those in need. We help the displaced families from Artsakh living in Armenia as well.

NEWS & EVENTS

  • ALCF staff created the atmosphere for the New Year and Christmas celebrations. We decorated the center with many ornaments and Christmas tree. The children wrote letters to Santa Clause. The foundation made colorful presents for the mothers and children of ALCF.
  • ALCF received huge donation from “Natali Pharm”.We got baby food, milk, yogurt and hygiene supplies for the residents of ALCF.
  • In December the foundation received cheese donation from “Umcor Armenia” CF.
  • “Dan Dessert” company donated cakes for the residents of ALCF for the celebration of New Year and Christmas.
  • ALCF received donations from Ejmiatsin Municipality and Ptghunk village municipality for Artsakh families living in our complex. They donated food, fruits, dried fruits and hygiene supplies for them.

  • Vocational trainings were ongoing for the residents of ALCF. They took part in various classes, such as English and Computer classes, Sewing and Manicure classes. They take the unique opportunity to enrich their knowledge in these spheres.
  • ALCF held a Bible Study for the residents of the foundation. They had a great time and felt blessed.
  • The residents of ALCF celebrated New Year and Christmas with great enthusiasm and joy. They received the presents made by the foundation, sang and danced. The little residents of the foundation sang and quoted poems for Santa Claus and got their presents. The atmosphere was warm and full of happiness.

NEWS & EVENTS

The war finally ended and the Armenians had quite a stressful month. ALCF went on helping the people of Artsakh and also did its best for the residents of the shelter.

  • The foundation took in 50 people from Artsakh and continues helping them. We distribute whatever they need. Warm clothes, shoes, hygiene supplies, food. As it is already winter, we pay their gas, electricity and water bills as well.ALCF is always standing by their side.
  • In November the foundation received a cheese donation from “Umcor Armenia” CF. We are thankful for the donation especially now that we have to feed not only the residents of ALCF but also  Artsakh people.

 

 

 

MYRADOON

  • We moved the residents of Post Shelter to the main building to give the homes to Artsakh families. Now they are residents of the shelter again. They are saving money by not having to pay for food and utilities and are mastering their skills and knowledge. They participate in English and Computer classes, Sewing and Manicure classes.
  • During November we have received many calls from the victims of domestic violence. We accepted newcomers at ALCF. As a matter of pandemic they stayed isolated for 14 days and then joined the mothers of the main building.

NEWS & EVENTS

Armenia and Artsakh went through difficult period. Families were displaced because of the war.  ALCF stood by their side and supported them in all possibilities. The foundation helped the people of Artsakh in many ways:

  • As a result of the war ALCF hosted 50 displaced people from Artsakh. The foundation fed them and supported them with everything they needed. In order to make the children and their mothers happier the foundation held events and Bible Study for them.
  •  The members of Child Evangelism Fellowship visited our center. The residents of ALCF and the families of Artsakh sang Christian songs, played various interesting games with the members .The young residents always look forward for them to come.
  • ALCF cooperated with many organizations for helping and supporting Artsakh people. The foundation sent clothes, blankets, sleeping bags, food and hygiene supplies to Regional Administration, NGOs, RA Ministry of Defense to be sorted out and sent to the frontline.

 

MYRADOON

Because of the war, we moved the post shelter residents to our shelter and made these homes available for the Artsakh families. That made the post shelter girls happy for not having to pay for food and utilities, but added expenses for ALCF.

  • ALCF goes on conducting Sewing classes, English, Computer and Manicure classes. The residents are very enthusiastic about getting essential knowledge.

 

   AID TO COMMUNITIES

  • ALCF provides people with humanitarian aid in the framework of “Ray of Light” program. The foundation gives clothes, blankets, hygiene supplies and so on.
  • The foundation continues the “Sponsor a Family” program. The monetary help that you give helps the poor families especially in war and pandemic conditions.
  • ALCF restarted distributing newborn care packages to hospitals. The mothers are really happy to get these gift packages for their babies.
  • We also helped Artsakh families living outside the foundation. ALCF provided warm clothes, shoes, boots and necessary supplies to them.
