Monthly Newsletter May 2015
MYRADOON
This month two psychologists visited our center and organized a seminar with our residents. Our girls were so excited. Theyspoke about their future plans and dreams and what they were going to do after leaving the shelter.Always thinking about their future life our foundation gives much importance to their working habits. We also teach them that besides their rights they have also responsibilities. Our girls participate in our classes of sewing, computer, English, manicure/pedicure, hairstyling, and cooking.
We are very pleased to see that our post-shelter program is working successfully. A new resident moved there! She is very responsible, hardworking and does her best to take care of her child.Under our supervision, the mother receives clothing, shoes, and food that supplement her income .
AID TO COMMUNITIES
We continue to help those who are in need! This month as usual we distributed our monthly sponsorship funds and gave clothes to each member of the sponsored families.
We started sponsoring the Ejmiatsin hospital and sending our residents to be checked there.
№ 2 Republican school which is a boarding school for needy and sick children, received lots of donations from us.
We express our deep gratitude to

1,5 year old Mark Baghdasaryan came to us 6 months ago, sick with Cerebral Palsy, we were told. Two weeks ago he started having severe headaches and staying up at nights. Our board decided to look into helping him. Started with MRI and it was revealed to us thathe had two large tumors in his head full of blood and liquid. On Tuesday, the 26th, he was operated and is still in ICU. We need lots of tests and medications to help him get well. Please send your heartfelt donations to P.O.Box 3595, Seal Beach, CA and write Mark Baghdasaryan on your check or go online and make your donation.
