NEWS & EVENTS

  • ALCF is very grateful to the brothers of Alpha Epsilon Omega for their amazing help. They helped pack, lift, and load an entire truck with pallets of donations ready to be sent to Armenia.
  • The TV program “ES Kam” recently visited ALCF and recorded a special program about our activities and the lives of our residents.
  • Our center continues its mission to care for and support the elders from our beloved community through the “Feed the Elders” program. This time we prepared New Year program for them which included songs, dances with Santa Claus and meal. At the end we gave them beautiful gifts.
  • ALCF was invited to the New Year event of the kindergartens of Ptghunk and Musaler villages. It was a very happy and warm atmosphere. ALCF, in turn, prepared beautiful gifts for the kids.
  • The members of Child Evangelism Fellowship visited our center. The little residents of ALCF sang Christmas songs, played various interesting games with the members and were treated with candies. Our little ones always look forward for them to come.

 

MYRADOON 

  • We extend our sincere appreciation to the Yerevan Dramatic Theatre, Yerevan State Puppet Theater, and Yerevan State Youth Theater for providing free tickets for the residents of ALCF and their commitment to making the arts accessible to all, regardless of age or circumstance.
  • Mesrobian Armenian School of Montebello, California did a toy drive for our children of Armenian Lighthouse in Armenia. We are so grateful to the students, their parents and the faculty for their generosity and love.
  • The staff of Lightspeed Commerce IT Company took the time to read the letters our kids wrote to Santa and worked their magic to make their wishes come true!
  • The staff of Courtyard by Marriott Yerevan hotel decided to spread a little extra joy in a special way! Instead of traditional Secret Santa gift exchange, they came together to make a difference for the little residents of ALCF. They bought toys, books, and sweets to bring smiles to kid`s faces and add a touch of magic to their holidays.

 

AID TO COMMUNITIES

  • The center goes on helping needy families, displaced families of Artsakh by providing lavash(bread) from our bakery, clothes, blankets, shoes, hygiene supplies and kitchen-ware.
  • $32 will supply 200 lavash for the hungry and the poor. Please donate and mention Lavash.
  • In the framework of “Sponsor a Family” program ALCF continues distributing monetary aid.
