NEWS & EVENTS

  • The residents of ALCF celebrated New Year with great enthusiasm and joy. They received the presents made by the foundation, sang and danced. The little residents of the foundation sang and quoted poems for Santa Claus and got their presents. The atmosphere was warm and full of happiness.
  • On Christmas evening January 5th our residents went to St. Mary’s Church in Parakar, participated in the Light ceremony and the Holly Liturgy, when they came back to the center, the Christmas supper was waiting for them.
  • The Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated St. Sargis feast day on January 27 this year. The feast day is not only celebrated by a church service, prayers, but also folk traditions․ On the eve of the feast, young people eat salty cookies hoping their future bride or bridegroom will give them water in their dream. The residents of ALCF also decided to join this beautiful tradition and made salty cookies.
  • The residents of ALCF congratulated our nation, officers, soldiers, and all military servicemen on the anniversary of the army. They wished them good health, high fighting spirit, peace, and prosperity.

 

MYRADOON

  • ALCF continues conducting vocational trainings for the residents: English, computer, sewing, manicure, hairdressing, and cooking They master these skills and become more self-confident.
  • Our talented young residents of ALCF gathered for an incredible art class that left everyone buzzing with creativity! This time, they delved into the fascinating world of scratching, unleashing their artistic spirits in a unique and engaging way.
  • At ALCF, we believe in fostering a holistic approach to care, ensuring not just the physical well-being of our residents but also nurturing their spiritual peace. Every Sunday, we embark on a special journey with our residents to the nearest churches, creating a sacred space for reflection, connection, and tranquility.
  • This month we celebrated the birthdays of Naira (mother) and our young resident Sargis. All the members of ALCF enjoyed the birthday cake and party wishing them many colorful and healthy days.

 

AID TO COMMUNITIES

  • The center goes on helping needy families, displaced families of Artsakh by providing lavash(bread) clothes, blankets, shoes, hygiene supplies and kitchen-ware.
  • In the framework of “Sponsor a Family” program ALCF continues distributing monetary aid.
