Monthly Newsletter October 2023

NEWS & EVENTS

  • On October 1st a Special Order of prayer was held in support of Artsakh and Artsakh Armenians in the St. Trdat Open Altar of the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin. The residents of ALCF also joined our fellow Armenians across the nation in solidarity, standing together for peace and justice.
  • ALCF wants to extend heartfelt thanks to all generous donors who have opened their hearts to support with food, lavash and hygiene supplies to the Artsakh refugees in our close villages.
  • Every Friday, we come together to dive into the wisdom and teachings of the Bible. It’s a time for reflection, discussion, and growth in faith. On Sundays, we take our residents to Church for a beautiful and uplifting Mass. It’s a time for prayer, praise, and being in the presence of God.

MYRADOON

  • Vocational trainings are in full swing, and our residents are actively participating in various skill-building classes such as English, computer, sewing, manicure, hairdressing and cooking to empower themselves and enhance their lives. These classes are not just about acquiring skills; they are about rekindling the spirit of hope, purpose, and happiness in our residents’ lives.
  • Just another day of creativity at ALCF! Our little residents had been unleashing their artistic talents with colorful chalks on the ground. The ground was transformed into a masterpiece, and it’s truly interesting to see their imagination come to life.
  • October was a month of celebration at ALCF!  We had three amazing birthdays of our little residents at our center. We were thrilled to celebrate the birthdays of Vladimir, Ellina, and Goga! ALCF wishes you a year filled with exciting adventures, new friends, and lots of sweet surprises.
