NEWS & EVENTS

  • Sam and Nargis Akmakjian touched our hearts with their incredible act of kindness. In memory of Hovik Akmakchyan, they made a generous donation, organizing an outdoor excursion and creating a day of joy and unity for the residents of ALCF and the members of “Feed the elders” program.
  • The residents of ALCF with all Armenians celebrated the Exaltation of the Holy Cross-which is the major feast celebrated in honor of the Holy Cross. Our hearts were filled with joy, gratitude, and a profound sense of unity as we commemorated the Cross on which our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was crucified.
  • The Members of the Child Evangelism Fellowship visited ALCF. They prepared nice holy songs, entertained the young residents with sweets.
  • We witnessed another beautiful Holy Baptism ceremony at ALCF, all thanks to the initiative of Mr. and Mrs. Ghazaryans!  It was a truly blessed day as all the members of our center gathered to celebrate this sacred occasion, marking a new chapter in the lives of the baptized.

MYRADOON

  • Vocational trainings are ongoing. The residents of ALCF take part in English, computer, sewing, manicure, hairdressing and cooking classes. The lessons help them become livelier and eager to continue their lives happier.
  • The little residents of ALCF kicked off their academic journey with a bang. We decided to make it extra special with a delightful Back to School photoshoot! It’s incredible how a simple photoshoot can turn into a memory they’ll cherish forever.
  • Kevork Shadoyan, a fashion designer and painter, hosted an engaging painting class for the young residents of ALCF. Such initiatives can be incredibly valuable for children, as they provide them with the opportunity to explore their creativity and express themselves through art.
  • On the occasion of the Independence Day, the little residents of ALCF appealed to the whole world for peace.

AID TO COMMUNITIES

  • The center goes on helping needy families, displaced families of Artsakh by providing clothes, blankets, shoes, hygiene supplies and kitchen-ware.
  •  In the framework of “Sponsor a Family” program ALCF continues distributing monetary aid.

WE EXPRESS OUR GRATITUDE TO

  • All our pillars and monetary donors in the USA that help keep our shelter open.
  • “Umcor Armenia” CF for their ongoing cheese donation for the residents of ALCF.
