NEWS & EVENTS

  • Every Year for Armenian Christmas, a priest visits our shelter and conducts a blessing ceremony. This year as well the priest blessed the center, bread, water and salt and gave them to the shelter residents and staff to eat and be blessed.
  • The members of Child Evangelism Fellowship visited the center. They prepared a performance about Christmas, sang songs and played with the little residents. After the performance the little residents received candy packages.
  • ALCF received food donations from Etchmiatsin Municipality for the Artsakh families living in the center.
  • The foundation is preparing for a second container shipment from the USA. The first container a forty foot, full of clothes, shoes and many other goods is already on its way to Armenia to be distributed to families in need.

 

 

 

MYRADOON

  • ALCF continues conducting vocational trainings for the residents: English, computer skills, sewing, cooking and manicure. They master these skills and become more self-confident.
  • ALCF started our regular Bible Study classes again every Friday for the residents and surrounding villagers.
  • After New Year and Christmas, we opened our doors for the newcomers who underwent domestic violence and abuse. Because of the pandemic they stay isolated for 14 days and then join the main building.

 

 

AID TO COMMUNITIES

  • ALCF continues the “Light of Hope” program and provides people with humanitarian aid. We distribute clothes, blankets, shoes, hygiene supplies and kitchen-ware to those in need. We help the displaced families from Artsakh living in Armenia as well.
  • In the framework of the “Sponsor a Family” program, ALCF distributes monetary aid.
