MYRADOON
Beginning of January, there is still the breath of New Year, theaters donated us tickets for the New Year performances. Our residents went to Puppet Theater, then Home of Moscow organized a great show for the children and in the middle of the month we took them to the Russian theater named after Stanislavsky. Participation in such cultural events make our residents life interesting and more colorful.
Christmas evening they went to St. Mary’s church in Parakar. After holy liturgy, the Christmas dinner was waiting for them in our center!
The vocational trainings are ongoing. We do our utmost to have a positive effect on the lives and well being of our residents and their children. We also always teach them to appreciate their God-given gift of motherhood.

AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
We continue our charity work distributing different kinds of items to the needy families.
Starting 2016 we have a new program. We visit different maternity hospitals and surprise mothers with presents(newborn clothing, blankets and pampers) for their newborns. We have already given the presents to more than 500 newborns.
We continue to help Syrian refugees who come to our ALCF center.Almost every day we give kitchenware, blankets, warm clothing to at least 7-9 families.Armenia hasn’t seen such a cold winter many years and this is one of the reasons our letter of requests amount has multiplied, people mostly ask for warm clothing and blankets.
Our staff continues visiting villages and distributing aid, not paying attention to the roads; which are covered with snow and it’s -25 C. We visited the villages Parpi & Nazrvan in Aragatsotn province. After the distribution, the village mayors gave us appreciation certificates.
