MYRADOON
We started May with birthday party. On May 2nd was Gor’s first birthday party. His mother is 18 years old. They came to our center from Tavush region. Her husband left her and the baby in the streets, she had nowhere to go.
Our girls participate in sewing, computer, English, manicure/pedicure, hairstyling, and cooking classes. They make aprons, table clothes and other creative things.
We celebrated Ascension of Christ in our center. Our residents were so excited, they danced under traditional Armenian music with the staff.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
We continue to help those who send us letters of requests, list of extended families from the communities who need clothes, shoes, bags and other necessary items. Our staff went to distribute to Noramarg village in Ararat region.
Please help us help these desperate needy Armenians !
NEWS FROM USA
Hovig and Houri Mgerdichian from the Mormons in Utah gathered a 27 ft container full with pampers, wheelchairs, soaps, new clothing and shoes, and funds to ship to Armenia. The Armenian youth packed the items.
Our gratitude goes to Harout Bekearian for driving this container; a 16 hour drive from Utah to Long Beach.
Meanwhile at their arrival the Ghazarian grandchildren and Zaher’s boys came to our rescue weighed and tagged every box. Soon we will ship another container. God blesses all that give back to his people.
