Monthly newsletter April 2016
MYRADOON
This month our residents started working in the green house. Soon we will have lots of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. We promote the work of green house and teach most of our residents how to grow and maintain vegetable crops, because many of our residents come from farming communities. It is essential to their survival when they leave the shelter.
We do our best to give them different venues to learn and work to earn money. We help them save for their future independence and healthy living outside our shelter.
Our residents continue their classes of sewing, computer, English, manicure/pedicure, hair styling, and cooking. With our founder Mrs. Seta, they did Bible study classes as well.
As soon as Seta Ghazarian came to Armenia, she organized baptism. We celebrated the baptism of twenty-four children with their mothers. Twenty-one of them were the residents of our center,it was a great celebration.
On April 7 we celebrated Mother’s day in Ptghunq kindergarten, they honored the kindergarten benefactor Seta Ghazarian.
