GUESTS

ALCF carries out its programs almost three years now and the secret of our success is the love and respect that is spread around our foundation and the mandatory discipline enforced by our board members. Slowly but surely the curiosity, interest and attention to our work is growing in Armenia, as we work with abused and neglected women and children who have come to live in our shelter with difficult destinies,now filled with hope and faith. People from Armenia, Artsakh and abroad who even have a little information about our foundation come to see us and try to help with their contributions.  Due to our supporters and blessings of God we are able to continue our activities.

• Albert Boyadjian from the US activated his pledge in July .250 Kg of flour every month. Thank you Albert God bless…
• We are grateful to Sarmen Boghosian and his wife Talar live in Yerevan repaired all our computers.
• Mihran Mahmouzian of US, The devoted friend of our foundation visited us again.
• Carla Bedrosian – board member, foundation’s lawyer visited us with her family from England. She participates also in our “Sponsor a family program” and one of her sponsored family came to see her and expressed their deep gratitude.

 

CLASSES

Our lessons are very productive and useful.  They become more and more interesting for the young women and community residents. We give classes for cooking, sewing, manicure, pedicure and computers. Our psychologist works with children every day, they have their determined hours of playing, lessons and swimming in the pool. Our volunteer dentists, gynecologist continue their services as well and we are very grateful to them.

Our “Feed the Elders” and “Bible Study” programs are continued weekly. We need sponsors for the Feed the Elders program please donate $100 and it will feed and transport 32 elders once a week. Please help us continue this program.

 

DONATION

We received the container (your donations of clothing and toys) from the US. We are going to distribute  to underprivileged families in Armenian villages, community residents who turn to us with their letters of request and the kindergarten which is under our sponsorship, clothes, shoes, toys, wedding gowns, hygienic items, baby food and other needed items.

This month our foundation provided disabled men and children with wheelchairs and walkers.

We are sad to inform you that we have stopped for nowour collection of gently used clothing due to the costs of shipping. Until further notice Please do not bring cloths to our drop off locations. Anyone who has another source to help us send these containers as charity  please contact us.
