LIGHT OF HOPE

FEED THE ELDERS.   We run this program almost three years now, during these years the elders that come from 4 neighboring villages and Etchmiatzin don’t stop their prayers and blessings to the sponsors. $100 and you become a sponsor. They can have lunch, receive attention and love.Get to meet new people, Have their spiritual needs met,get what they need from clothing and shoes . They watch films, receive medical services.There is an obvious change in their appearances. We also organize their transportation and often give them presents.

AID TO THE COMMUNITIES.After research and traveling from one home to another; meeting more than 30 families we chose 7 that are most needy and enrolled them in our “Sponsor a Family” program Thanks to the sponsors in the US. This money helps them buy medicine for their sick children, others to buy food and to solve many other problems

In May we chose the village Voskevaz  in Aragatsotn region. The 300 underprivileged families  received bags of clothes, shoes, toys and items of necessity from our foundation. We also gave aid to 100 Russian pedagogues who live in a bad social conditions. All people from Armenia and Karabakh who turn to us with their letters of requests receive aid; no one is denied.

MYRADOON

Our Hot Line number (free of charge to the caller: 20-80) rings moreoften than ever; those who want to live in our shelter are more. Two girls left our shelter in May and at the same time two new residents came in. We are happy to say that one of those girls who left our shelter returned to her father’s house and the other to her husband’s.  ALCF councils them and gives them the possibility to start their lives over.We continue to conduct various vocational trainings at our shelter, including computer, cooking, sewing, manicure and pedicure classes,
