Monthly Newsletter October 2016

MYRADOON

October was a blessed month as our resident Flora delivered her first baby, Nare a female angel.
The life in our shelter is very busy and active. Almost every week we take the residence  somewhere ,where they can develop  their cultural interests.  They went to Avetik Isahakyan /well known Armenian writer/ house museum.   The impression was indescribable.   Moms with the children went to Yerevan Zoo.
The last Sunday of October our founders before leaving Armenia took  our residents to Ejmiatsin shaurma for lunch.
We also organized a baptism ceremony in our church /chapel for those who came to our shelter lately.

AID TO THE COMMUNITIES

We continue to distribute humanitarian aid to different villages of Armenia. The staff went to Lernagog village in Armavir Region.
We support all the Syrian-Armenian immigrant families who come to our foundation for help. The refugees and individuals who turn to us with a letter of requests asking for help have multiplied. We do our best to meet their needs. We turn to your support to help us buy these items in Armenia, portable heaters, portable ovens, pots and pans, drying cloths rack for indoors & out, and food. The Syrian immigrants are  desperate of these items .Everything else we have and we give them.

  • Elena Sagayan gynecologist from San Francisco, Liza Kouyoujian Stanton psycologist from England and general doctor Susanna Onanyan joined forces to give their time to serve our residents and elders. Dr Elena donated lots of medication and did a seminar in English and Dr Suzanna translated to Armenian to help our residents understand.
  • We thank Natali Pharm for donating organic Hipp baby food for our children enough, and extra to distribute to the needy.

Our founders left Armenia end of October to continue their noble work in America!
