NEWS & EVENTS  

• We were delighted to welcome the “Armenia Tree Project” once again to ALCF! They have always stood by us with unwavering support, helping to enrich our surroundings by planting trees. Thanks to their generosity; our shelter continues to thrive in a green and nurturing environment, as they provide us with the fruit and ornamental trees we need.
• ALCF had the pleasure of visiting Musaler Secondary School after Franz Werfel. We were honored to donate notebooks to the school, so that teachers and students can use them in their daily lessons and continue their learning with joy and dedication.
• We were honored to welcome the students, parents, and faculty of the Armenian Mesrobian School to our center. The students joyfully served a hot meal to the elders from our “Feed the Elders” program as well as to our residents at the shelter.
• Through the unwavering support and patronage of our beloved founders, Mr. and Mrs. Ghazarian, a heartfelt Holy Baptism ceremony was recently held in our St Mary’s church /chapel located on our premises. The day began with a sacred and uplifting Holy Mass in our church, filling the hearts of all present with peace, reverence, and thanksgiving. Both the Mass and the Holy Baptism took place under the spiritual guidance and blessings of the esteemed priest, Father Partev.

MYRADOON 

• Our residents are enthusiastically taking part in diverse classes such as English, computer skills, sewing, manicure, hairdressing, and cooking. Through these programs, they are developing valuable skills, strengthening their independence, and creating new paths toward future opportunities.
• Our two little residents Katrin and Mayis proudly stepped into first grade for the very first time. We are so excited to see them begin this new chapter filled with learning, friendships, and endless possibilities.
• ALCF continues to welcome and support women who have been abused, along with their children, providing them with a safe environment and opportunities to rebuild their lives.
• Our little ones enjoyed a special September 21^st photoshoot, proudly dressed in clothing inspired by the colors of our national flag.

NEWS & EVENTS

• The residents of ALCF celebrated the Assumption of Mary, and the Blessing of the Grapes. Our residents were so happy to take part in the service, to pray together, and to witness the blessing of the grapes.
• We are deeply grateful to Fadi and Seta Kurdahi for their generous donation in support of our ALCF residents and our beloved elders from our community. With their donation, we were able to purchase two pools and to plan a Burger party.
• On behalf of all of us at ALCF, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Suzan O. Shera and her husband David Shera for her generous donation. With their donation, the children of ALCF had a truly wonderful visit to Machanents House in Etchmiadzin.
• We would like to sincerely thank all of the generous donors who contributed to providing hot meals for the elders in our community through the “Feed the Elders” program.

MYRADOON

• Our residents are actively participating in a variety of classes, including English, computer, sewing, manicure, hairdressing, and cooking. These programs help them gain useful skills, build independence, and open doors to new opportunities.
• ALCF had a special guest — Suzanne O. Shera — who brought a fun and creative shadow game for our young residents!

• As the seasons change, our residents have already started preparing for the winter. With teamwork, care, and dedication, they are making sure our shelter is ready for the colder days ahead.
• We celebrated the birthday of our little Lolita!  It was a joyful day filled with smiles, laughter, and love. Moments like these remind us how special it is to create happy memories together.”

• At ALCF we came together to celebrate the birthday of our beloved founder, Seta Ghazarian. Residents and staff gathered with warmth and gratitude to wish her a heartfelt Happy Birthday.
• In loving memory of Hovik Akmakjian, Sam and Nargis Akmakjian have made a generous donation to bring joy and refreshment to our shelter. The residents of ALCF and the members of our “Feed the Elders” program enjoyed a special outdoor pool party.
• Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the United States of America, had the opportunity to visit the ALCF upon his arrival in Armenia. This visit was a great opportunity for the Bishop to learn more about the foundation’s activities.
• ALCF recently had the immense pleasure of attending the graduation ceremony at Ptghunk Kindergarten named after “Mr. and Mrs. Ghazarians”.

MYRADOON 

• Vocational trainings are in full swing at ALCF. Our residents are actively participating in English, computer, sewing, manicure, hairdressing, and cooking classes. These lessons not only teach valuable skills but also uplift their spirits, helping them feel more confident and hopeful.
• ALCF had a very joyful day as our residents celebrated the Armenian traditional festival of Vardavar.
• Օur resident Mariam has welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world! Both mom and baby are healthy, and our ALCF family couldn’t be happier.
• Designer Kevork Shadoyan visited ALCF. He brought painting supplies and had a very interesting painting therapy.

NEWS & EVENTS

• As promised, Dr. Tsaturyan returned to visit ALCF — this time with his wonderful friends — to help turn International Children’s Day into a real-life fairy tale for our children. They invited the incredible Gamemasters, who filled the day with cotton candy magic, a dazzling bubble show, and even brought beloved cartoon characters to life!
• It was a true pleasure to welcome students and parents from Ari Guiragos Minassian Armenian School to ALCF! Their visit gave us the chance to share the heart of our work—our mission, our values, and the programs we provide for women and children who call our center home.
• Our beloved founders, Mr. and Mrs. Zuhrab and Seta Ghazarian, arrived in Armenia, and the entire ALCF family gathered with open arms and joyful hearts to welcome them.
• As our cherished Founder, Mrs. Seta Ghazarian, is currently in Armenia, she is personally leading our Bible study sessions. Her warm presence and words filled with wisdom and love bring light and inspiration to every heart in the room, turning each gathering into a truly uplifting and unforgettable experience.

MYRADOON 

• Vocational trainings are ongoing. The residents of ALCF take part in English, computer, sewing, manicure, hairdressing and cooking classes. The lessons help them become livelier and positive.
• The center continues accepting women and their children affected by abuse and domestic violence. With the help of donations the foundation is doing its best to fulfill all their needs.
• The brave little residents of ALCF shared a heartfelt message with the world through a special social ad. Their goal? To remind all: don’t leave them alone. Their voices matter and they deserve to be heard and to live well.
• We’re overjoyed to share the beautiful harvest from both our garden and greenhouse here at ALCF!

NEWS & EVENTS 

• Our little residents held a special open class dedicated to May 9 – Victory Day. With pure hearts and innocent voices, they shared one simple wish: no more war – only peace.
• At ALCF, our Feed the Elders program ensures that our beloved seniors—and our residents—receive the nutritious meals they urgently need. For many of them, this is their only hot meal of the day.  With just $300, you can provide a day’s worth of meals for the entire community—both elders and residents. That’s one day of dignity, warmth, and care.
• The residents of ALCF came together to celebrate Jan Gyulum—also known as Hampartsoum—a beautiful Armenian tradition that honors love, joy, and the wonders of nature.
• The residents of ALCF recently had the joy of visiting the breathtaking Zvartnots Cathedral, a true gem of Armenian history and spirituality. Surrounded by ancient stones and open skies, our group walked through the ruins with awe and pride, connecting with the deep roots of our culture.

• ALCF continues holding English, computer, sewing, manicure, hairdressing, and cooking classes for the residents of ALCF to provide them skills and to facilitate their future life․
• Our shelter doors remain open and compassionate to women escaping abuse—and their children who deserve safety and peace. We continue to provide a safe haven, where survivors can begin to heal, rebuild their lives, and find hope again.
• The young residents of ALCF took a beautiful journey through imagination during a special painting class themed “My Dream House.” With colorful pencils and big dreams, each child created their own vision of a safe, happy, and peaceful home.
• We were honored to welcome Tanzela Grigoryan, a member of the Armenian Women’s Weightlifting Team and a multiple-time champion of the national championship, to ALCF! Tanzela brought her energy, strength, and heart to our young residents, turning the day into a fun and inspiring Sportlandia experience! Through games, exercises, and encouragement, she showed the kids that with dedication and belief in themselves, they can grow strong—inside and out.

• ALCF had the honor of hosting Doctor-Sexologist Andronis Gharibyan! It was a truly inspiring and thought-provoking discussion centered around Family, Relationships, and Marriage. Dr. Andronis shared deep insights on what can weaken or destroy relationships — and more importantly, what we can do to strengthen and protect them.
• The residents of ALCF came together to celebrate Armenian Tsaghkazard (Palm Sunday) with joy! Our residents gathered at Parakar Holy Mother of God Church to receive blessings and mark the beginning of Holy Week.
• At ALCF, we gathered together to celebrate Easter. Our residents shared a warm and delightful Easter dinner, and the children lit up the day with their excitement and energy during our exhilarating Easter egg hunt!
• We had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Tigran Tsaturyan and Dr. Mery Harutyunyan from Dentex Dental Plus Clinic to ALCF today! They led an informative and engaging seminar on dentistry and healthy teeth, sharing valuable tips on how to take care of our smiles.

MYRADOON 

• The children from “ZATIK” Child Support Center of Yerevan visited ALCF with open hearts and incredible talent. They performed their touching play, “Love without words,” for our residents and staff.
• Our amazing residents have officially kicked off the planting season! They got their hands dirty (in the best way) and started planting tomatoes, cucumbers, hot and sweet peppers, eggplants, and a variety of fresh greens in our greenhouse.
• We were so blessed to have the Members of the Child Evangelism Fellowship visit ALCF recently! They prepared a beautiful and heartfelt Easter program for our residents, filled with joy, songs, and the powerful message of hope that Easter brings.
• Our hearts were deeply moved as our beloved resident Ani and her daughter Sofia performed a powerful and emotional dance in remembrance of the Armenian Genocide.

• Recently, ALCF was honored to welcome Dr. Armine Misakyan, a sonographer, who visited our center to provide much-needed medical check-ups for our residents.
• The residents of ALCF celebrated Armenian Mijink. Our talented cook baked 2 Gatas where she put coins. Then the Gatas were sliced and shared among the residents. And when the lucky pieces were discovered, revealing the hidden coins, our Varsenik and Ani were the fortunate recipients.
• On International Women’s Day, the little residents of ALCF prepared a beautiful show program with songs, dances, and heartfelt performances to honor their mothers and the dedicated ALCF staff.
• Every Friday, the residents of ALCF come together for Bible study classes, creating a space for faith, reflection, and fellowship. Through prayer and discussion our residents receive hope, comfort, and guidance. 

MYRADOON

• The residents of ALCF continue to actively participate in English, computer skills, sewing, manicure, hairdressing, and cooking classes, gaining valuable knowledge and practical skills that empower them for a brighter future.
• At ALCF, we continue to open our doors to women who have been subjected to domestic violence, providing them and their children with safety, support, hope, food and clothing.
• The little residents of ALCF amazed us with their chick dance, which we put on video for everyone to enjoy.
• Our little ones had a wonderful spring photoshoot, capturing the beauty and warmth of the new season!

• The long-awaited container of 2024-2025 has finally reached Armenia, and the atmosphere here was fantastic. The residents of ALCF and a few volunteers from the village united to unload the container. We would like to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude to all the incredible donors who made this possible. Your support is not just about material resources; it’s a symbol of the compassion and care that binds us all together.
• The residents of ALCF with all Armenians around the world celebrated Trndez. They shared delicious food, danced, and made wishes for the new season ahead.
• Every Sunday, the residents of ALCF come together to visit Armenian churches, embracing faith, tradition, and community. With heartfelt prayers and warm fellowship, these moments strengthen our spirits and deepen our connection to LORD Jesus Christ.
• Again a child’s voice was at ALCF. Baby Set was born. Children are important beings in everyone’s life, without whom life would be uninteresting.

• In our bustling community, residents are actively engaging in a diverse array of skill-building classes, including English, computer skills, sewing, manicure, hairdressing, and cooking. It’s more than just learning new skills; it’s a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
• The little residents of ALCF had a wonderful time at our Day Care, bringing their imaginations to life through art.
• In anticipation of Saint Valentine’s Day, ALCF organized a special photoshoot to celebrate love in all its forms! Love isn’t just about romance—it’s about cherishing our homeland, respecting our parents, and embracing the bonds that make us stronger.
• All the residents of ALCF celebrated Tatev’s 1st birthday and first tooth. It warms our hearts to see how quickly Tatev is growing and becoming a part of our close-knit ALCF family.

• ALCF had the annual blessings of the center. This act of blessings was done by Reverent Father Partev who guided us through this sacred ceremony.
• On the eve of the Armenian Army Formation Day, the young residents of ALCF, Arman and Nare, prepared a beautiful song, which we presented to the public.
• In the framework of “Feed the Elders” program the Frօunjian family gave the luncheon (Madagh) in memory of their parents.
• We’re thrilled to announce that our beloved Bible study class is continuing strong, every Friday, with the blessings of the Rev Father Partev, with the enthusiastic participation of children, mothers from our center, and several representatives from our vibrant community. Together, we’re exploring the timeless wisdom contained within the pages of the Bible, nurturing our faith, and strengthening our bond with each other and with God.

• ALCF continues conducting vocational trainings for the residents․ With the help of the lessons they gain new skills and self-confidence to take charge of their lives.
• The center goes on baking lavash for our residents and for vulnerable groups and people with disabilities living in Armenia.
• The shelter continues to provide a safe haven for women and their children affected by abuse and domestic violence. Our doors are open to provide safety, support, and hope. Together, we can create a space where they feel valued, understood, and empowered.
• The residents of ALCF celebrated a truly special and heartwarming moment – the 40th day of our sweetest and tiniest baby, Mila! Her 40-day milestone feels like a magical reminder of how much love and joy a little one can bring to a shelter.

NEWS & EVENTS

• ALCF is very grateful to the brothers of Alpha Epsilon Omega for their amazing help. They helped pack, lift, and load an entire truck with pallets of donations ready to be sent to Armenia.
• The TV program “ES Kam” recently visited ALCF and recorded a special program about our activities and the lives of our residents.
• Our center continues its mission to care for and support the elders from our beloved community through the “Feed the Elders” program. This time we prepared New Year program for them which included songs, dances with Santa Claus and meal. At the end we gave them beautiful gifts.
• ALCF was invited to the New Year event of the kindergartens of Ptghunk and Musaler villages. It was a very happy and warm atmosphere. ALCF, in turn, prepared beautiful gifts for the kids.
• The members of Child Evangelism Fellowship visited our center. The little residents of ALCF sang Christmas songs, played various interesting games with the members and were treated with candies. Our little ones always look forward for them to come.

MYRADOON 

• We extend our sincere appreciation to the Yerevan Dramatic Theatre, Yerevan State Puppet Theater, and Yerevan State Youth Theater for providing free tickets for the residents of ALCF and their commitment to making the arts accessible to all, regardless of age or circumstance.
• Mesrobian Armenian School of Montebello, California did a toy drive for our children of Armenian Lighthouse in Armenia. We are so grateful to the students, their parents and the faculty for their generosity and love.
• The staff of Lightspeed Commerce IT Company took the time to read the letters our kids wrote to Santa and worked their magic to make their wishes come true!
• The staff of Courtyard by Marriott Yerevan hotel decided to spread a little extra joy in a special way! Instead of traditional Secret Santa gift exchange, they came together to make a difference for the little residents of ALCF. They bought toys, books, and sweets to bring smiles to kid`s faces and add a touch of magic to their holidays.
