GUESTS AT ALCF CENTER IN ARMENIA

ALCF was full of guests!

  • The Hadjians,  Shiklanians,  Persekians, and the  Tutunjianswith their family members visited our facility. Our special gratitude goes to singer Kevork Hadjian who performed for our elders and residents. We also thank ZepurOhannessian, for bringing the guests  together at our center.
  • A group of 18 people visited ALCF and toured around the facility. They also joined us for distribution of aid to 99 families in Nor Amanos village, Aragasotn region.
  • Levon & Marine Baghdasaryans came to our center. They were the sponsors of “Feed the Elders”program. Their children served our elders. We also express our gratitude to them for purchasing ice maker for our kitchen.

We are thankful to all the guests for choosing our foundation to spread their love and support to the underprivileged people. It was a great example of philanthropy, particularly for the children.

NEWS

Our founders Mr. & Mrs. Ghazarian donated Holy Chrism Dove Stock to St. Mariam Astvatsatsin Church in Parakar. For over 7 years we as a large family of residents and children take part of the  holly liturgy ceremony in this church every Sunday. Ter Partev Ashuryan faithfully serves  our center residents and our elders  all these years by giving Bible Study classes every Friday. In addition  people from surrounding villages  come to listen to the Word of God and deepen their relationship with their Christian faith.WE THANK FATHER PARTEV ON BEHALF OF EVERYONE, FOR HIS COMMITTED SERVICE!

MYRADOON

We celebrated Vardavar-the most expected holiday of the summer, with great enthusiasm.
All our shelter and post-shelter residents gathered together and started massive water fight!
They all really enjoyed the festive day!
Our shelter resident Sofi took courses of hair-styling for a whole yearand got a certificate of excellence. Now she uses her skills and beautifies hair of our residents and elders.
Our residents, under the guidance of volunteer Zepur Ohannessian from the US, created expressive and beautiful handicraft products in our sewing room.

Our founders held an appreciation luncheon at their residence on July 29th to honor our supporters.
Our founder/executive director Mrs. Seta Ghazarian thanked all our volunteers and donors for their generous assistance and help to keep our community healthy, well, and working!
Almost 120 people were present. Some of the guests who visited our facility in Armenia shared their impressions with others. The participants enjoyed the delicious food and dessert specifically prepared for them. Our residents’ handicrafts were given as gifts to the guests with attached lottery tickets. Lottery was played and lucky winners got two large bags made by our women and two large paintings from Armenia. Guests also watched some latest videos about ALCF activities.
THE APPRECIATION LUNCHEON is our way to thank people who are example of outstanding volunteerism, philanthropy and collaboration!
