Monthly Newsletter June 2015
We started the month with a very joyful event. Celebrated June 1st– International Day for Protection of Children .We organized lots of interesting games and competitions in our center then gave them presents . Our children had lots of fun and enjoyed their special day!
We had a birthday party. Our cook baked a cake, they decorated the room with balloons. Our children danced with excitement.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES:
ALCF continues its light of hope program. We go to border villages and distribute necessary items to families in need. This month we gave aid to 145 underprivileged families in Haytagh village .All the families that needed assistance received clothes, shoes, blankets, and kitchenware. We gave aid to “Lusabac” children camp in Hanqavan.
GUESTS
Maggi Minassian from Sydney Australia, came to our center and taught our residents how to prepare rose jam. At first they gathered roses from ALCF garden, lots of roses are grown there. Mrs. Minassian showed all the process of the preparation, our girls helped . The recipe is so easy and our girls promised to make it next time for us.
We would like to express our gratitude to all those individuals who brought matagh for our elders and shelter residents. Our gratitude goes to our supporters for theircontributions!!!
