MYRADOON
Our Hot Line number (free of charge to the caller: 20-80) rings more often than ever. The residents are increasing in our shelter. This month four women found shelter in Mayratoon, Two are pregnant . One is underage 15 years old girl and is 6 months pregnant. The Lori municipality and police sent her here with their letter of requests. None of her relatives wanted to help, and she was subsequently left in the streets. Second girl had grown up in an orphanage. She has two children who are in the orphanage now. Our directorate will do her best to get the children out and join them to their mother!
This month was full of events.
- Father Partev blessed our newborn girl after her 40 days.
- Our residents celebrated International women’s day “March 8”. The residents went to church on Palm Sunday., then the priest came to our church /chapel and made the ceremony of Palm Sunday with us.
- Tree project donated a lot of trees! We organized a tree planting day with all the residents and staff. We do our best to make our residents life more interesting. On Sundays they always go to church, then watch films in our center and have a discussion on it.
AID TO THE COMMUNITIES
ALCF continues to give aid to different communities in villages ,as well as different individuals who turn to us with their letters of requests. This month our staff members went to Arevashat village. We gave aid to 146 families, who needed clothing, shoes, and toys for the children.
Feed the elders– Your donations keep our programs going. We support our elders with clothing ,shoes, and medication.
Bible Study- Father Partev from Parakar’s St. Mary church continues His Bible study in our center every Friday. Some families receive baby food every week, others diapers both for babies and elders. We also distribute shoes, clothes, blankets, etc.
