Events

We organized some special events for the underprivileged families in Armenia:

 

• We distributed shoes and school backpacks to the children of the “Sponsor a Family ” program
• Gabriel & Lisa Tahanian from Sydney visited our center and met with their sponsored family. It was a moving experience for both.They showered them with

• We organized a wedding ceremony in our chapel. Harout thegroom/ has been our sponsored child for more than 10years. When our Founders heard that he had brought a wife home without marriage which is a common thing for the villagers to do;( a wedding means spending money they don’t have ).

AID TO THE COMMUNITIES

ALCF continues its light of hope program. We traveled to Kalavan&Barepat villages in Gegharquniq region.They are boarder with Azerbajian. We distributed necessary items to families in need. As always, this month as well, we received a lot of letters of requests.

We gave medical supplies to Ejmiatsin hospital.We also helped Etchmiazin hospital to put together a playroom for their children’s wing.

“ Bible study ” and “ Feed the Elders ” participants received shoes and clothing.

 

MYRADOON

The residents are increasing in our shelter.  Our Hot Line number (free of charge to the caller: 20-80) rings more often than ever. We have three new residents . As our founders are here, life in our shelter becomes interesting and joyful. This month we again have newborn baby boy. The mother was so excited as she has two girls.Our girls participate in our classes of sewing, computer, English, manicure/pedicure, hair styling, and cooking.

Our volunteer General Doctor Suzan Onanyan, Gynecologist YevaTorosyan and the dentists Armen and  Armine of  Lux- Med dental clinic who continue their charity work,  by providing a much needed medical and dental care to our residents ,and their children in our shelter.

Our general doctor Onanyanonce a month gives special attention to our elders and the Bible study participants. Provides medication for them as well.
